The house is working out great. It was your efforts that saved the day when we thought we had lost the deal. The concept of your acting as the "buyer's agent" was a winner. Since the seller will always have an agent working for them (the listing agent) it makes sense for the buyer to have an agent on their side to balance things out. There is no question that your working for the buyers provided the best deal for us. Your recommendation to have Robert do the inspection was excellent and your follow up on getting deficiencies corrected was beyond my expectations. It was a pleasure working with John on the purchase of my beach house. On my first visit, we determined my primary interests and budget, and I looked at several to clarify my thinking, but found none that filled the bill. I returned to Richmond, and was kept posted on the Internet as to what was available. When found something that fit my criteria, I was sent a photo. I returned to the Outer Banks, and was showed that house plus several others. That afternoon I signed a contract and returned home. After the contract had been accepted, I was supplied with names and addresses of a mortgage company, several insurance agents, and attorneys. All the local aspects of the closing was handled, including of all the utilities to contact. There was no need for me to make another trip to the Outer Banks, ...followed up on all details, and the closing was done by mail. It took only 30 days from signing the contract till the closing. Leaving the details in your hands made everything go very smoothly.
